Nick Says: Warm up before you work out!

At the fitness desk and around the LifeCenter, I bear witness to a few basic exercise indiscretions and none make me wince as much as the following scenario: A friendly patron walks up the stairs to the exercise floor and we exchange pleasantries (this is the part I don’t mind). They then make a beeline for the treadmill, turn on the machine, crank up the speed and begin sprinting like it’s going out of style. I recommend a two-part warmup for best results.
